Chicago, New York & Las Vegas Top List for Most Romantic Valentine's Day Cities

Hyatt Regency St. Louis At The Arch Tops List of Most Romantic Hotels

When they have their valentines to keep them warm, who cares about the weather outside?  Priceline.com has released its list of the top 20 most romantic cities for Valentine’s Day 2014, and about half of them will be pretty chilly, perhaps even snowy, come Friday, February 14th.

To compile its 2014 list, priceline.com took the post-stay surveys submitted by its hotel guests and looked for those cities that were cited most frequently for their romantic charm.  According to these travelers, here are the top cities for romance:

In a separate independent telephone survey conducted for priceline.com, 1,000 respondents were asked if they were more likely to watch TV or be intimate with their significant other on Valentine’s Day.  64% said watching TV was more likely.  However, among those planning to turn off the tube and turn on their significant other, 38% live in the Midwest and 35% live in the South. More than two in five (42%) Americans think they are more likely to “get lucky” when they spend the big night in a hotel room.
