Atlanta airfares show biggest weekly increase
Atlanta has the dubious distinction of having the priciest airfares this week, both to and from the city. According to this week's airfares index, the $244 roundtrip airfare from Chicago to Atlanta was up 26% over last week. The $290 Detroit to Atlanta airfare was up 20%. The best deals were on flights to Chicago or New Orleans. The $184 Minneapolis to Chicago airfare was down 20%. Airfare from Newark and New York City to The Big Easy were down 16% and 13% respectively. Check out this week's list below.
