Need a hotel for Mardi GrasHere's a hot tip I just received from one of Priceline's regional hotel negotiators who happens to work with hotels in Louisiana. New Orleans will be celebrating Mardi Gras in a couple weeks, culminating in the Fat Tuesday celebration February 24th. If you're looking for affordable accommodations, our reps are seeing priceline.com customers getting 3-star Name Your Own Price hotel rooms in the French Quarter for the 24th with bids as low as $68 a night. That's double occupancy and it doesn't include taxes and fees. But it's also 50% off published prices.
